What data the tool accesses

Only the QuickBooks Online accounting data of companies the owner has connected: the chart of accounts, transactions, journal entries and standard reports such as the trial balance and general ledger. It does not request profile, email, payments or payroll access.

Where it is kept

Data is retrieved to, and stored on, the owner's own computer and storage for bookkeeping and review. Connection credentials are kept in the operating system's secure credential store, not in files.

Who it is shared with

The data is used only for the benefit of the owner and the companies concerned. It is not sold, the tool does not use it to train AI models, and it is not shared with third parties except the owner's own professional advisers (for example accountants), or where required by law.

The owner reviews the data with the help of an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude). The assistant processes data only to answer the owner's own questions and carry out his instructions.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept as part of the companies' accounting records for as long as the owner needs it. Disconnecting the app in QuickBooks Online stops all further access immediately.
